Hellraid was previously slated to be add-on content for Dead Island. Growing in development and paying homage to such games as the popular ’90s FPS Hexen; the game has now transitioned onto the PlayStation 4 and current-gen platforms. Although it is not exclusive to the console, it will be yet another value added title to the PlayStation Network’s library of games.

Check out the live stream from earlier today, below. You see some of the games dialogue, combat, and some of the RPG elements present for items/weaponry. The current build of the game is running off of the Chrome Engine 6, which is developed by Techland itself. The transition to the new engine only occurred recently and the gameplay below shows off the move.
Hellraid will feature a single-player, as well as up to four players in co-op. The game will also release as a digital only title and has a PC Early Access model via Steam lined up for Fall 2014.
