You may have heard of a new game called Hatred that has been developed by Polish developers Destructive Creations. The game is about going on a rampage and slaughtering civilians in a bloody, gory, manner. The game has already been released on PC and the developers are looking at a release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
As the announcement trailer suggests, the game is very dark and the content is brutal and, some may argue, disturbing. The indie developers say the game “takes no prisoners and makes no excuses.”
In an official press release, Destructive Creations reveals how the game’s idea came about: “Destructive Creations is an experienced indie team that, in times where a lot of games are heading to be polite, colorful, politically correct and trying to be some kind of higher art, rather than just an entertainment, wanted to create something against trends. Something different, something that could give the player a pure gaming pleasure. This is how the idea of Hatred – the team’s first game, was born”.
Gaming website PSU contacted Destructive Creations CEO Jaros?aw Zieli?ski to ask if he would be bringing the game to consoles. He said he’d “love to” but that the development team was too small at this point. PSU asked “So, if Hatred sells well on PC, this could be a possibility, right? As you’d be able expand the team?” “Yep, exactly,” said Jaroslaw.
