The Last of Us was, without doubt, one of the biggest games of 2013 and one of the biggest PlayStation games of all time. The game has gained over 200 Game of the Year awards since its release and the Remastered edition released on the PlayStation 4 has also been one of the highest rated PS4 games so far. The developers are certainly proud of their achievement but still feel there are ways the game could be improved.
In an interview with Game Informer, the game’s co-director, Bruce Stanley, revealed that whilst he is “super happy” with how the game turned out, there are still things he believes could have been done better.
“I’m super proud of what we’ve done here in the team and everything that we’ve accomplished… but at the same time, there’s another aspect, which is like, it’s not done, or something.” He said.
It seems that Stanley may be somewhat of a perfectionist given just what an amazing game The Last of Us is.
