As more information leaks about the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game developed by Platinum Games, publisher Activision remains silent about the comic book inspired game.
Originally leaked via an Australian Classification Board, the new TMNT game called TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan had its in-game screenshots revealed last Friday. Five new screenshots showed off the game’s cel-shaded look – similar to the graphics Platinum Games used in Transformers: Devastation – and the Ninja Turtles’ new designs. The Ninja Turtles’ human-like facial features are reminiscent of their live action movie depiction, but still retain the simplicity of the current cartoon and comics.
Below are the new TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan screenshots.
Despite the game’s illustrated artwork leaking online, as well as its achievements, Activision has yet to officially announce the game. Presumably, the game’s launch will coincide with the domestic theatrical release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Based on the release of Transformers: Devastation, the new TMNT game may be released on current and past consoles like the PS4 and PS3.
