Publisher Daybreak has confirmed the PlayStation 4 (and Xbox One) version of H1Z1: King of the Hill will be available some time in mid-2016. We know for sure that the release will take place after the early access beta ends on PC.
On the PC side of things: H1Z1 is being split into two different games — Starting February 17th, HIZI: King of the Hill and H1Z1: Just Survive will both be available for $20 each on Early Access.
“Many players in the community have been discussing splitting the game and we’ve heard you loud and clear. We want to make sure we give both titles the support they need and deserve to truly flourish.”
Anyone who has purchased H1Z1 on (or before) February 16th will instantly have access to both games after they separate. Lastly, back to home consoles — the studio is also currently working on plans for releasing H1Z1: Just Survive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
