This past week has proven to be quite tumultuous for Sony’s PlayStation Network service. The network has been plagued with off-and-on server issues for the last few days, which has understandably made a lot of PS4 owners upset. This is due to the fact that some games require the system to have an active online connection in order to launch, in addition to other features such as online multiplayer and social functionality being interrupted due to these issues.
Sony seems to be working on it, but the problems clearly have not been addressed yet. This is the message from the PSN Status Page:
You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.
