The upcoming farming simulation title Pure Farming 2018 is set to release in just a few weeks. Developed by Iceflames, this game is very similar to that of Farming Simulator, which latest entry came to the PS4 back in late 2016.
Pure Farming 2018 borrows a lot from Farming Simulator’s gameplay formula, but its visual prowess is noticeably a step beyond that of FS. If you buy the game on a console, it turns out that PS4 Pro owners will have an enhanced experience as Pure Farming 2018 natively supports the more powerful system.
As revealed during a recent Reddit AMA hosted by members of the game’s development tram, Pure Farming 2018 on PS4 Pro will support longer draw distances for crops, higher shadow quality and “other improvements”. The framerate on the Pro is also higher, running at 40-50 FPS. The base PS4 version will have a framerate of 30-35 FPS. The exact resolution of the game on either the PS4 or PS4 Pro was not mentioned. There was also no mention of Xbox One X support, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Pure Farming 2018 has a similar set of enhancements when running on that system.
Pure Farming 2018 launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 13th.
