Capcom recently posed two new Resident Evil Revelations gameplay videos on their Japanese YouTube channel. Showing off how the game looks on PlayStation 4.

One video focuses on the action segments in the game, while the other is more exploration centric. You can check out the Resident Evil Revelations PS4 gameplay videos below.

Resident Evil Revelations is set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One this fall, and will release on August 31 in Japan. The game originally released as an exclusive for the Nintendo 3DS in early 2012, before being ported to the PS3, PC, Xbox 360, and Wii U the following year. The game is one of my favorite Resident Evil titles of all time. A lot of people give Resident Evil 7 all the credit for bringing back horror, backtracking, and puzzles, but Resident Evil Revelations was the first to dabble with those features.

Lucky for us, Capcom has been bringing over every classic and recent Resident Evil on PS4 — you can currently play Resident Evil, Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil CODE: Veronica, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 on current generation consoles. And soon to be a rebuilt from the ground up remake of Resident Evil 2 currently in the works.

We recently had a discussion about our personal history with the Resident Evil franchise.
