Ubisoft has delayed South Park: The Fractured But Whole until Q1 of 2017. Originally slated for December, the sequel to 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth planned to become a bigger and better South Park take on superheroes.

Instead of fantasy satire, South Park looks to lampoon warring superhero storylines the likes of  Marvel and DC.

Ubisoft had this to so say via the Ubiblog:

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.
