Sony has rolled out a new version of the PlayStation VR headset. While it looks just about the same as the original, it sports a few new features:
- HDR Passthrough – Only available when using a PS4 Pro system with a compatible 4K TV
- Streamlined cables
- Embedded headphones (attaches to the headset for better comfort)
This revised model of the PSVR headset comes with a new model number so it can be identified in stores: CUH-ZVR2. It will be replacing the original model which launched last year and has now been discontinued.
Just like the original PSVR headset model, this new revision retails for $400 USD. The North American and Canadian editions will be bundled with a copy of Gran Turismo Sport and a PSVR camera.
Does this new model give you the itch to pick a PSVR headset?
